NCAC Executive Director, Chris Newlin participated in the first National Survey of Victim Service Organizations/Providers Expert Panel in Washington, DC. This esteemed group of 24 nationally recognized victim service providers was convened by the RAND Corporation, the National Center for Victims of Crime, and the NORC at the University of Chicago to provide expert guidance on the development and implementation of the first ever national survey of this type. This project is funded by theDepartment of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime in conjunction with the Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Statistics. The NCAC was selected due to its long-term collaborative relationship with the U.S. Department of Justice and as a representative of Children’s Advocacy Centers, one of the leading victim service models in the United States.
