This monthly inter-agency meeting offers a great opportunity to network with professionals from other social services agencies and learn what is going on in our community! Each month a different program or agency is invited to share information on the services they provide to children or youth in North Alabama. Following the presentation, each participant tells us about new programs or upcoming events going on in his/her particular agency.

Any professionals or community volunteers who work with children and teens are welcome to attend. Dues are just $10 per year per organization.

The Alabama Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation, Division of Mental Retardation Services was awarded the Family Support Initiative grant by the Administration on Developmental Disabilities to create and/or expand statewide systems change for Family Support. This Town Hall Meeting will enable individuals with developmental disabilities, their families and other stakeholders to provide input regarding the Individual and Family Support Program, its policies, and to shape systems improvement.
