Many people are skeptical of this diagnosis. This training is intended to help social workers, counselors, psychologists, nurses and other professionals working in a variety of helping professions understand this issue. The workshop will be led by trauma specialist Donna Greenhaw of Kaleidoscope Counseling Services. She will define Dissociative Identity Disorder, talk about the causes, and discuss treatment options. Participants will also be introduced to "Robin" a DID client with a system of 46 alters that developed during years of abuse. You will hear her amazing story, understand and appreciate what she has accomplished. The fee for this workshop is $89 for professionals and $79 for students. Lunch is included. CEU's are available.
