Learning objectives for this workshop: 1.To discuss the dynamics of cultural diversity 2.To identify cultural themes common to culturally diverse populations. 3.To identify micro-inequities or micro-messages that can perpetuate negative cultural attitudes and beliefs 4.To identify the organization/inclusion continuum that influences the effectiveness of cultural inclusion 5.To identify common barriers to providing access and delivery to diverse populations, including the impact of workplace incivility as a barrier to cultural inclusion 6.To identify the basic cultural competencies for service providers working with culturally diverse populations.
