National Conference on Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Prevention
The National Children's Advocacy Center (NCAC)
regrets to announce that the
14th National Conference on Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Prevention
will not take place.
The conference was tentatively scheduled for August 6-9, 2013 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Due to increasingly strict rules regarding the expenditure of Federal grant funds for conferences, the NCAC is not able to hold this conference. This is very disappointing to all of us working daily to prevent the sexual abuse and exploitation of our nation's children.
While the future of the conference is unclear, the NCAC is dedicated to providing quality training opportunities related to child sexual abuse and exploitation prevention. Some free, online trainings are available on our website and new training opportunities will be announced as they become available.
