March 28 – 31, 2011 in Huntsville, AL

Make plans to attend the 27th National Symposium on Child Abuse! Symposium is a nationally and internationally-recognized multidisciplinary training conference offering numerous networking opportunites and more than 130 state-of-the-art workshops presented by nationally renowned experts.

Workshop tracks are designed specifically for Administration, Child Protective Services, Interviewing, Law Enforcement, Legal, Medical, Mental Health/Treatment, Prevention, Victim Advocates, and Wellness.

The National Children's Advocacy Center is committed to providing outstanding, high-quality training for professionals in the fight against child abuse. We hope that you will join us in these efforts to improve the lives of children throughout our country and the world.

Symposium begins Monday with an evening dinner and registration, March 28, 2011 at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. Guests will have an exciting opportunity to tour the museum, view an IMAX movie, and network with other professionals.

Workshop sessions begin on Tuesday, March 29 at 8:30 a.m., and conclude
at noon on Thursday, March 31.

Each of the 10 workshop sessions features
at least 13 different workshops. Pre-Conference Sessions will be
offered on Monday, March 28, 8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.

Registration Fees:

$449 Until January 22, 2011
$499 After January 22, 2011

Cancellation Policy: Written cancellations received by February 28, 2011 will be refunded less a $75 administrative fee. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER February 28, 2011. Substitutions are allowed.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

We have a limited number of scholarships available each year for Symposium participants. If you would like to apply for a scholarship, click here. The application period closes on September 3, 2010.

All applicants will be notified via e-mail by close of business on
September 17, 2010, whether or not they received a scholarship.

*Scholarships will cover the cost of registration only.

2011 OUTSTANDING SERVICE AWARDS

The National Children’s Advocacy Center is pleased to offer the 2011 Outstanding Service Awards to recognize the contribution of professionals who demonstrate excellence in the collaborative approach to protecting children from the devastating impact of child sexual abuse and exploitation. These awards are intended to recognize professionals who have made a significant positive contribution to services that address child sexual abuse and exploitation in their community.
