Mission and Overview

The SOUTHERN REGIONAL CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTER (SRCAC) was established through a grant to the National Children's Advocacy Center (NCAC) from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. SRCAC provides information, consultation and training and technical assistance, helping to establish child-focused programs that facilitate and support coordination among agencies responding to child abuse.

The SRCAC assists communities in establishing MDTs and CACs and provides training and technical assistance to established CACs. The training includes subjects such as:

  • Board Development
  • Multidisciplinary Team Development
  • CAC Staff Development
  • CAC Management
  • Strategic Planning
  • Others as requested
