To provide a coordinated, multidisciplinary, and humane approach to child abuse investigation and intervention through a centralized, child-friendly facility that minimizes trauma and anxiety for the child victim and non-offending caregivers; aids investigaiton; provides therapeutic services for child victims; provides counseling, education, and support for families and non-offending caregivers; and provides education on prevention of child abuse.
