Chapter Assistance


The Southern Regional Children’s Advocacy Center may award a grant each year to each state/chapter to assist with Chapter operations or training and technical assistance.  Each chapter shall submit a proposal describing how these funds will be used for Chapter Development or for Training/Technical Assistance to CACs within in each state.

Chapter Conference Sponsorship

The Southern Regional Children's Advocacy Center will assist chapters with their state-wide training or conference.  Sponsorship is on a reimbursement basis for allowable expenses. Request for sponsorship must be made prior to the conference/training 90 days in advance. Get an application form for SRCAC Chapter Conference Sponsorship.

Chapter Professional Development Assistance Program

Eligible trainings include those that build the skill-set of the Executive Director/Chapter Coordinator and/or staff of the State Chapter Organization.

Each Chapter Organization within the Southern Region will receive up to $3,000 towards the cost of travel and rgistration on a reimbursement basis.

"Travel" includes airfare, baggage fees, parking, lodging, taxi/shuttle, car rental, fuel (rental car only), and gas mileage (if driving POV). Please use the GSA website to determine the federal lodging rates for the intended destination: Please Note: we cannot make reimbursements for lodging that exceeds the federal rate. Furthermore, requests for reimbursement for a portion of a higher rate are unallowable.
