SRCAC can assist CACs in assessing specific training needs and help to develop a training customized for your staff and community at your site. All training services are provided by experienced faculty who are on staff at the Southern Regional Children's Advocacy Center or who are recruited from active, successful Children's Advocacy Centers. Children's Advocacy Centers Development training will assist with starting a CAC in your community.
Organizational Development provides information on how to establish agency collaborations, develop a board, build resources and planning.
Multidisciplinary Team Building is an interactive training for your team. Team members will learn the importance of working together to improve the outcome of cases for the child and their family.
Board Development training offers techniques on how active boards can support the work of the CAC.
Facilitation Training provides CAC staff with information on how to enhance their skills as facilitators of team meetings as well as ongoing team communication and relationships.
Strategic Planning training can assist you with planning for the growth and development or your CAC, Board or Chapter CAC.
TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE REQUESTS
SRCAC can provide training and technical assistance on a variety of topics to communities who starting a CAC or who have an established CAC. To request technical assistance or to customize a training for your agency and multidisciplinary team, complete the Training and Technical Assistance form and return to SRCAC. Staff will contact you within two days of your submission. Requests for customized training must be made 90 days in advance of the date(s) for your training.
