The International Symposium on Child Abuse is a premiere conference that provides expert training and numerous networking opportunities to professionals in the child maltreatment field, and is one of the few conferences that addresses all aspects of child maltreatment, including but not limited to physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, exposure to violence, poly-victimization, exploitation, intervention, trafficking, and prevention.
The 34th International Symposium on Child Abuse offers more than 160 workshops with tracks that are designed specifically for Administration, Child Protective Services, Forensic Interviewing, Human Trafficking/Sexual Exploitation, Law Enforcement, Medical, Mental Health/Treatment, Prevention, Prosecution/Legal, Secondary Traumatic Stress, Victim Advocacy and Youth-Serving Organization.
Pre-conference sessions are on Monday, March 19, 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with check-in/registration at 8:30 a.m., Von Braun Center, South Hall. Pre-conference Sessions require an additional registration fee.
Symposium check-in/registration opens Monday, March 19, 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, March 20, 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m., Von Braun Center, South Hall.
The Opening Plenary Session begins on Tuesday, March 20, 8:30 a.m. Workshops sessions begin on Tuesday, March 20, 10:30 a.m. and conclude on Thursday, March 22, 4:30 p.m.
