Each individual must register separately, using a unique email address. To register on behalf of another individual, simply check the box by the statement, "I am registering on behalf of this person". Once registration is complete, you will receive a copy of the registrant’s confirmation email and be able to view their registration details.

The dress code is business casual. Wear comfortable shoes for walking. Also, it is STRONGLY recommended that you dress in layers as the temperatures in the Von Braun Center vary.

As your schedule allows, please stop by Symposium Check-in/Registration on Monday, March 18, 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the Von Braun Center, South Hall to pick up your Symposium name badge and other conference materials to help you plan your week. Check-in/registration continues Tuesday, March 19, beginning at 7:00 a.m. *For Symposium Pre-Conference attendees, check-in/registration begins Monday, March 18, at 8:30 a.m. at the Von Braun Center, South Hall.
Your Symposium name badge is required for admittance to all workshops and activities.
Attendees are not required to select their workshops prior to the Symposium. All sessions are on a first-come, first-serve basis. A complete list of workshops-confirmed-to-date is coming soon.
The International Symposium on Child Abuse uses the Symposium Conference App in place of a printed program guide! Access the full agenda with maps, handouts and presenter bios, up-to-the-minute updates and important messages from the conference planner, exhibitor booth locations, and more! The Von Braun Center advises all guests are subject to screenings which can vary from visual inspections and bag searches to metal detectors. Please familiarized yourself with the list of prohibited items before arriving for Symposium.
Parking is available for participants who drive their personal vehicles.
- The Von Braun Center South Hall and North Hall parking fee is $10.00 per day. The North Hall Reserved parking fee is $15.00 per day.
- The Huntsville City Parking Garage, accessible from Monroe Street and Church Street, is $5.00 per day.
Alternatively, the International Symposium on Child Abuse (Symposium) provides shuttle service between official Symposium hotels and venues beginning Monday, March 19 at 4:30 p.m. with transportation to check-in/registration at the Von Braun Center. Wireless Internet access is provided free of charge for all participants.
International attendees may need a letter of “invitation” in order to obtain a visa to visit the United States. We strongly advise to start the visa application process as early as possible.
You are required to pay registration fees* before receiving an official letter of “invitation”. All Symposium fees must be paid in advance; otherwise, your registration cannot be accepted. Payment is accepted by online credit/debit card only. Once you have paid your registration fee, you may send an email to the Symposium Registrar and provide all pertinent information such as to whom the letter should be addressed and your contact details. If you provide an email address, an email version of the invitation will be sent to you electronically.
If you require the original with official signature, it can be mailed to you via U.S. Postal System only. International mail is slow so this may take some time. Kindly note:the event organizers will not be able to contact or intervene with Embassy or Consulate offices on your behalf.
*Symposium registration fees and or exhibitor fees are refundable (less the designated administrative fee of $75) if the visa application is denied. The refund request must be received in writing 14 days before the Symposium start date. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after that date.
The registration fee includes daily continental breakfast and lunch. Morning and afternoon breaks with refreshments are provided. Lunches are served in South Hall 2 (SH 2); afternoon Snack Breaks are served in the South Hall Pre-Function Area.
There are limited dietary options (vegetarian/vegan/gluten free) for breakfast, snacks, or lunch. It is recommended that participants bring food items to meet specific, individual dietary needs.

The NCAC is providing continuing education for the 35th International Symposium on Child Abuse. Continuing education credit is offered as listed and is awarded on a session-by-session basis, with full attendance required at the sessions. Application for continuing education credits is part of the registration process. Verification of contact hours earned will be emailed to applicants 4-6 weeks following the Symposium. Please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your address book to ensure prompt delivery of your CE verification certificate.

CE credits are issued in the name of the registrant. CE certificates include registrant's name, license number (if provided) and licensing state (if provided).
CE credits are issued based on a registrant's participation in sessions. Participation in sessions is tracked electronically.

The official language of the 35th International Symposium on Child Abuse is English. Due to the number of workshops and participants, translation services are not provided.
