The National Children's Advocacy Center has partnered with the Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Von Braun Center, and Downtown Huntsville, Inc. to bring you a variety of great food trucks, drinks, and music on the steps of the Von Braun Center, South Hall Entrance.

Cost: Free to attend, food and drink are available to purchase.

Participants may ride the Symposium Shuttle from official Symposium hotels to the Von Braun Center starting at 4:30 p.m.  The Symposium Shuttle will return participants to hotels immediately after the event ends at 8:00 p.m. Should you plan to enjoy our many downtown restaurants and entertainment district, please plan for a taxi, Uber, or Lyft.

NCAC Staff will also be on hand during registration/check-in to assist with the Symposium Conference App download.

In case of inclement weather, the Food Truck Rally will be cancelled; however, early check-in/registration will still be open.

Join us as we walk through Huntsville’s entertaining and “spirited” past!  A guided tour begins at Green Bus Brewery, where you will sample the signature beer of the Huntsville Ghost Walk and hear about recently recovered secrets from 150 years ago.  You’ll even learn where the bodies are buried!  Another sample awaits you at Below the Radar, a trendy restaurant/bar in a 1920s-era high-rise haunted by owner J. Emory Pierce, a man whose creativity landed him in prison and sent him to the afterworld with a colorful and flamboyant funeral.  The third stop is Old Town Beer Exchange, where you will enjoy a sample of “Haunted Bridge” beer and learn about the ghosts of Andrew Jackson’s militia that camped on-site during the Creek Indian Wars.  Your guide will share other stories in between stops on this Haunted Pub Crawl.

The Downtown Haunted Pub Crawl begins at Green Bus Brewery, 206 Eustis Avenue - just a short walk from the Von Braun Center - starting at 5:30 p.m. and concluding at 7:00 p.m. Transportation to Green Bus Brewery from the Von Braun Center is provided. The Symposium Shuttle will return participants to hotels immediately after the event.  Should you plan to enjoy our many downtown restaurants and entertainment district, please plan for a taxi, Uber, or Lyft.

Reservations are limited.  Please RSVP.  Cost: $25 per person

In case of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket. A Huntsville Ghost Walk Representative will be at the Von Braun Center during the conference on Tuesday, March 20, for ticket reservations and to answer any questions.
