SUMMARY:Supervision of Child Forensic Interviewers
DESCRIPTION:Forensic interviewing with children and adolescents demands more than training—it requires strategy. This advanced training equips supervisors with the tools to coach and elevate interviewers across four essential areas: question typology\, protocol adherence\, social support\, and critical thinking. Practical guidance and adaptations will be provided for all experience levels—helping your team grow with confidence and consistency. \nThis training is open to those having previous and/or ongoing experience in conducting forensic interviews and are currently responsible for the skill development and support of other interviewers.

SUMMARY:Supervision of Child Forensic Interviewers
DESCRIPTION:The role of the forensic interviewer within the CAC continues to evolve\, calling for a greater level of competence and skill. Limited opportunities for peer review are no longer sufficient to meet this goal. Long recognized in medicine and mental health\, supervision is an established relationship between a senior practitioner and junior colleague(s) focused on advancing skills in implementing best practices\, supporting resilience\, and increasing sense of professional identity. This training will introduce an array of supervisory principles and approaches. \nThis training is recommended for experienced forensic interviewers wishing to build skills and confidence around providing on-going information sharing\, skill building\, and support of less experienced interviewers.
