Creating hope and healing for the children of Madison County is made possible through the support of you! Support NCAC’s mission to champion and strengthen the global response to child abuse, and we do that by caring for our local children and families!
How to Get Involved
Donate
- Join the Protector’s Circle through a one-time or annual gift or join the Sustainer’s Circle by giving monthly.
- Join the 180 Degree Society through an annual donation of $5,000 or more.
- Many employers offer matching gift programs where the company will match any charitable contributions made by an employee up to a designated amount, doubling your impact! Contact your employer for more information.
- Request donations be made to NCAC in your honor in lieu of gifts during birthdays or special celebrations.
- If you would like to contribute to NCAC’s endowment, donate stock or contribute through your Donor Advised Fund (DAF). Contact Hannah Alderson for more information at halderson@nationalcac.org or 245-327-3798.
- Donate Cryptocurrency
- Planned Giving: Leave a lasting legacy at NCAC by joining the Legacy Circle. A planned gift can be as simple as a bequest to NCAC in your will or naming NCAC as a co-beneficiary in a life insurance policy. Contact Hannah Alderson at halderson@nationalcac.org to learn more.
- Become a Corporate Partner through your business or employer
- Sponsor a signature event. Contact events@nationalcac.org for more information or check out this year’s sponsorship booklet.
- Join the 180 Degree Society

- Donate items for event auctions
- Invite us to share a little bit about NCAC at your next staff gathering.
- Host a Lunch & Learn or training opportunity at your business or organization. Whether it’s 5 minutes or 50 minutes, staff meetings, retreats, employee training programs are perfect opportunities to invite an NCAC staff member to provide valuable child safety information.
Advocate
Advocate for NCAC’s mission to champion and strengthen the global response to child abuse:
- Organize a tour of NCAC’s Campus. Contact halderson@nationalcac.org for more information.
- Apply to join NCAC’s Young Professionals Advisory Council by contacting Jennifer Breuer
- Host a supply drive to support clients and their families: diaper bags and supplies, new clothing items, toys, and toiletries, therapy tools and activities, and self-stable food items help ensure each child is cared for with dignity. Amazon Wish List
- Attend a Stewards of Children Prevention Education program
- Raise awareness during Child Abuse Prevention Month in April
- Plant a Pinwheels of Hope Garden
- Host a Lunch & Learn at your business or organization
- Organize a Stewards of Children training through the NCAC’s Prevention Department
- Use NCAC’s Child Abuse Prevention Month Social Media Toolkit to raise awareness across your socials
Volunteer
Donate your time and talents:
- Provide administrative support through data management, supply organization, annual mailing campaigns, and lots more
- Organize our Healthy Families client clothing closet and food pantry
- Provide one-time or regular maintenance of our Children’s Building therapy garden, art therapy room, or lobby play area.
- Volunteer at one of our Special Events
- Bake cookies for our Holiday Community Partner Cookie program
- Organize a ‘Done In A Day’ project through your business or employer

Please note: most volunteers do not work directly with children and families; however, our children and families receive the best care from the best professionals because of the support of volunteers like YOU. Volunteers are required to complete and clear the Alabama Department of Human Resources Child Abuse and Neglect Registry Clearance and national criminal background check prior to being admitted to campus to volunteer.
