This presentation is an overview of a framework for collecting outcome measurement data on the work of Children’s Advocacy Centers (CAC) and Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT) in improving outcomes for kids and outcomes for community/society. This framework may be utilized by individual CACs/MDTs, state chapters, or national organizations to collect measurements determined appropriate to their needs.

Target Audience:
CAC Executive Directors and staff, Chapter Directors and staff, Regional CACs and MDT members interested in outcome measurements.

Learning Objectives

  • The participants will gain a better understanding of outcomes vs outputs.
  • The participants will learn about the Outcomes Framework for CACs.
  • The participants will gain an understanding of how to use the Outcomes Framework to gather the data appropriate to their needs.

Presenter: Cym Doggett

Cym DoggettCym Doggett, MSW, is the Project Director for the Southern Regional Children’s Advocacy Center, a project of the National Children’s Advocacy Center funded through a grant from the U. S. Department of Justice, which provides training and technical assistance to Children’s Advocacy Centers in 16 states. Ms. Doggett holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a MSW from the University of Alabama. She has also completed the Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
