In September, NCAC Executive Director, Chris Newlin and former Congressman, Bud Cramer, presented a joint Opening Keynote Address, “Do the Right Thing: The Impact and Value of CACs and MDTs,” at the 13th Annual Children’s Cove Conference on Child Sexual Abuse in Hyannis, MA.

Chris also traveled to Dublin, Ireland to present a session on, “Recent Research Affecting Child Abuse Investigations and Prosecutions,” at the Thirteenth ISPCAN European Regional Conference on Child Abuse. Mr. Newlin also coordinated and presented a symposium titled, “European Implementation of the Children’s Advocacy Center/Barnahus Model,” with colleagues from Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.

Chris Newlin wrapped up September by delivering the Keynote address “The Value and Impact of Child Advocacy Centers,” at the World Childhood Foundation’s thematic seminar in Stockholm, Sweden.

NCAC Senior Trainer, Linda Cordisco Steele, presented two workshops at the 17th Annual Kids Are Worth It! conference in Lexington, KY and presented a workshop at the 13th Annual Children’s Cove Conference on Child Sexual Abuse in Hyannis, MA. Linda also taught a Extended Forensic Interview Training in St. Louis MO and an Advanced Forensic Interviewing Training in Bethpage, NY.

NCAC Trainer Andra Chamberlin traveled to Pueblo, CO to teach a Forensic Interviewing of Children Training.
